Sea Myrtle Snow, and Ripening Oranges.
It is Samhain. The halfway point between the Autumn Equinox and the Winter Solstice. The Celtic New Year, Summer’s End. In the trees and fruits I sense the qualities of the season shift. Just not quite in temperature yet.
I thought it would be a good idea to slow down writing this Fall. That is why it’s been two weeks since you’ve heard from me. After giving it a try, I have discovered it is not a good idea at all. Don’t always listen to other people’s advice : ) The practice is too meaningful to slow down considerably. So steady we keep it. Once a week more or less. Why am I telling you this? Partially so I hold myself accountable.
